Brilliantly written. Really enjoyed Albatross.

Albatross was great, really thought it was well written, one of the best written movies in a long time

Stumbled upon this one completely by accident! Really enjoyed! You could feel the cast working with (against??) an uneven script. Thought "no one talks like this, but I still believe them?" a few times throughout. Thom Nyhuus (Kenny) and Romaine Waite (Thomas) were standouts.

This reminded me of a short version of a Stephen King film. A light story with minimal characters and an under tone thriller will keep you watching till the end.

Albatross was a great film. I'm unsure I've seen anything else like it. It takes you on a journey through the past to the present using race and sex as the drivers for something everyone is now familiar with. The fact it's based in the late 50's adds fuel to a story that at the time would have caused waves throughout a community.

A truly remarkable and unique movie. that has some of the best writing turned to dialogue I have seen in some time. It's fascinating how all the characters marry up which is testament to their quality acting.

For me, Myles Yaksich has got Albatross almost perfect.

If you like mysteries where you don't have a clue where it's heading, and where all characters are simply sat a table discussing aspects of life then you will love Albatross.

It's a dark drama that has you questioning things from the start, giving little away until, and only when, the director wants you to learn a little more.

The characters are mysterious enough for you to watch Albatross all the way through and by the end, leave you trying to work things out for yourself.

Albatross gets a solid 4 stars from me.
