A young girl who loses her parents at an early age in a car accident is placed into the care of her young auntie. The auntie struggles to be the parent she requires so tries her luck with M3GAN.
M3GAN is a “Model 3 Generative” whose main coding instruction and goal is to “protect Katie from harm, both physical and emotional”. This all sounds good in the trailer until Katie’s Auntie tries to switch M3GAN off and what appears to be a bit of bullying by a young boy. Horror is then likely to ensue!
M3GAN is filmed on location in New Zealand with the screenplay written by Akela Cooper with the story written by James Wan.
