Murder on the Orient Express

Any movie that is made as a sequel to another one that people really enjoyed watching would really need to be very good, else people would just not see the reason for a sequel in the first place, and I think this movie just did not meet expectations if you have watched the 1974 version.

This version of the movie was quite dull and I have to say perhaps very unnecessary. There was much more intrigue, greater performances and atmosphere in the 1974 edition than there was in this one.

In this version, the cast who look impressive on paper were wasted, for me, it didn’t have enough intrigue and it feels very much straightforward which makes no sense especially if you have read the book.
