Awful! No story,.no drama and rubbish end!!
Dangerous Game starts wells and promises to deliver with a sterling cast. However, this falls short in the first part of the film. They all give a good impresstion of a dysfunctional family, with tense drama and scenes of not speaking and slient members. But it fails to deliver and the acting falls short of rasing the tempo of the thriller.
The film represents a live version of Cluedo, with dark rooms and gives a few 'scream moments' to bring the horror. But after a few scenes of watching them all run around from room to room, got confused by the plot and was slightly bored.
Its a shame that this doesn't hold its audience and with the odd dramatic killing off of each family member leaves you feeling its been done many times before.
Its worth a watch, but for deep thriller/horror fans you will be disappointed.
Perhaps I should have waited until the evening to watch Dangerous Game: The Legacy Murders.
I found it intriguing despite having watched similar in the past. The cast were very well sourced so a thumbs up to the casting director. I do wonder though if this is similar to the up and coming Knives Out sequel? Genres do come round in phases and maybe this murder mystery is just one to be released before the main Daniel Craig show in late December?
It does have mystery to it which will have you thinking and guessing. The deaths are of course brutal which I have come to expect, and there is an element of class to The Legacy Murders which makes me wish I'd had a glass of red in my hand to watch it.
It's not as predictable as I thought it might be, in fact I'll happily admit I got it totally wrong. Don't expect to work this on out quickly. In the case of longevity you probably won't watch Dangerous Game: The Legacy Murders more than once but that once will be enough for a good evening of entertainment.
