Martin Scorsese will reunite once more with Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie adapted version of David Grann’s book: The Wager: A Tale Of Shipwreck, Mutiny, And Murder
If strongly based, it should be about two groups of sailors set in the mid 1700’s that were stranded in South America.
Survivors of one British ship and accused by another group of sailors of being mutineers which results in a trial being setup to discover the truth.
Production has already begun and it is expected that The Wager may make an appearance at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
