A good 90's action movie with all star cast. RIP Sean Connery, you were a real gent
Probably Nick Cage's last good film... since this he does about one film per week
This is one of the most well-directed actions films out there. The performances of Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery were a joy to behold, and the directional talent of Michael Bay was in full display here.
To be honest, this is probably the most ridiculous plot I have ever come across for a movie, yet it didn’t matter if it makes sense at all as the movie delivers so much fun to make you forget that it really didn’t get some of the basics right.
I was surprised to see Ed Harris playing the bad guy and I’d rather have him play the good guy role, but he didn’t disappoint as all the cast really made a name for themselves here. This is not the best action movie I have ever watched, yet it is still one of the most entertaining out there.
