Training Day (2001)

Denzel at his very best. A must watch.

A proper mans man film with bent police and and some very tense moments for the main guy Ethan Hawke.

One of the best bent copper films I have seen in my opinion and I'm still waiting on a prequel tbh. Washington is at his best in this, in fact I'm sure he grabbed an Oscar in this one, and Ethan works really well with him. The odd thing is you don't really get it that's there's evil cops at work until late in the film by which time you think it might be too late for the good guy. It's a brilliant depiction of what could be happening and to some extent prob is and if you like gritty, almost noir cop films with some real life action thrown in then Training Day is def one for you!
