From Directors Tiffany Toney and Andre McCoy, the former also starring, comes this psychological thriller that features plenty of colour, good music for those of you who are fans of hiphop and a tidy script that flows and keeps you interested.

Bora delights in a fashionable sense that provides watchers with plenty of guesswork to do during a very visually beautiful film but it's hard not to spoil it when writing what it's about. I'll try not to reveal anything but please forgive me if I do.

Bora follows a young lady called Elon who, during a visit abroad meets someone during Day of the Dead who takes her on a dark journey involving pleasure, drugs and crime. There follows a series of odd deaths which Elon cannot work out until it is too late and we as watchers are then informed of the twist. I personally didn't work it out until the reveal but then maybe I, and the audience, wasn't supposed to.

Bora won't have you on massive tenterhooks but it is tense, well filmed, well directed and the acting throughout is well above decent. Hardcore fans of Fight Club would enjoy this outing by Toney with backing by Omar Gooding and Queen Ajima in what I feel is a good watch and a thriller I would recommend.
