Watching Run Sweetheart Run at breakfast during cornflakes and coffee is probably not the brightest time to have done so but hey, release times on streaming can be a challenge!
Run Sweetheart Run portrays the "woman running from danger" storyline. She goes on a blind date and things look to be working out well, that is until we find out her date is an abusive lunatic who she obviously tries to escape from.
It is edge of your seat stuff despite the predictability as she navigates from one danger point to the next, but unfortunately it's not all on the one night which makes it more of a stalker type film which is spread out over days. In reality a good lawyer would have sorted this out in no time.
I thought Pilou Asbæk played the lunatic well and he was the standout character for me. You'll also recognise the Head of Shield from Marvel in there too but I think he's more there to add a name than anything else.
Run Sweetheart Run is exciting to hear about but mostly disappointing to watch in my humble opinion and I'm not sure watching it in the evening instead of breakfast would make much difference.
