Presence is one of those standard mystery horrors whereby someone has been possessed but they don't immediately know it. The difference being that the majority of Presence takes place aboard a private yacht owned by a multimillionaire which makes it a bit unique.

You don't get that much visual horror during the film with most of it being sinister music followed by shadows in the background and you will need to wait right until the end for the worst of the horror to take place and even then it's not super horrific.

Presence is okay in that it takes place on a modern yacht rather than a typical old mansion somewhere and the music keeps the intensity levels high but it's very tough to understand the ending.

With good acting, Presence is watchable but you will struggle to fully comprehend what has happened and what is going on all the way to end. Whilst its location is different, and the photography great on coastal and oceanic settings, the film doesn't finish well and could have been made clearer.
