Dear Zoe is a poignant and heartwarming drama that swiftly establishes its tone and takes viewers on a captivating emotional journey. It delves into various themes, including the profound impact of a family's response to a tragic loss and the complexities of forging a rapidly evolving relationship. While the entire cast delivers commendable performances, Sadie Sink truly shines and rightfully commands attention.

Sink's portrayal goes beyond her previous roles as a teenage monster slayer, showcasing her profound acting abilities and emotional range. She delivers an exceptional performance, showcasing her depth as an actress.

The screenplay expertly adapts Philip Beard's novel, with the dialogue between the actors effectively resonating with the audience, capturing their hearts.

One of the film's strengths lies in its ability to maintain a steady pace without dragging the story. Recognizing that audiences can only handle a certain level of emotions, it navigates from beginning to end with finesse, avoiding excessive theatrics and concluding in a timely manner. It's worth mentioning that the music selection is superb, perfectly timed to evoke a strong emotional response.

Dear Zoe is an outstanding drama that is bound to withstand the test of time, undoubtedly garnering numerous positive reviews.

Dear Zoe is an emotional yet heartwarming drama that quickly sets the tone and takes you on not just one, but a few rollercoasters of emotions and thoughtfulness.

It explores numerous issues not least that of the family's reaction to a tragic loss but also the building of a relationship that wants to develop quickly. All the acting in Dear Zoe was very good but Sadie Sink does take the limelight and rightly so.

Sink shows that she isn't simply a teen monster killer but someone with plenty of depth to her acting skills with plenty in her emotional arsenal. She is excellent.

The screenplay has been adapted expertly from the novel by Philip Beard with dialogue between the actors really getting to the heart of the audiences.

What Dear Zoe does very well is not drag the film out. An audience can only take so much emotion and it drifts from start to end without going over the top and finishes in a timely matter. I will also add that the music choice is excellent and it gets switched on with perfect timing to bring us the feel factors.

Dear Zoe is an excellent drama that should stand the test of time and will surely receive many more positive reviews.
