This Peter Von Kant adaptation was truly excellent and no more deserving of the best bottle of red wine you can afford to go with it. Magnificent.

I watched this like ages ago, it's a work of art more than a film. Acting is superb. If you want to watch one film in subtitles ever I would say Peter Von Kant easily!
