I thought the last Back to the Future film was really good although it wasn't made in the 80s like the first 2 films.
Marty must save his friend's (Doc Brown) life so Marty has to travel back in 1885. Marty soon finds him and they both try to get back to 1985 although the time machine doesn't have enough speed go back to 1985. However Doc soon falls in love with Clara Clayton (Mary Steenburgen) who was supposed to die and that has changed history.
I also recognise that some people in this film were on "Goin South" as that was a Western film and this one was also a western film.
In my opinion it is not as good as the first one but it was better than the second one.
The final chapter of the Back to the Future films does disappoint and it makes me wonder what they could have achieved with a little more imagination. 1 and 2 will remain classics but the third sort of shows me that they ran out of ideas and went down the easy route with a Western when there were so many other opportunities to twist things around.
In fact I'd be within my rights to say that they could have extended Back to the Future 2 and not have produced the third version. It's worth a watch after the first two and definitely something for a rainy Sunday afternoon but don't plan your Friday night around it!
