Cleverly done where graphics are concerned but the predictable story takes away any positive things Rampag had.

This is perhaps one of the most overhyped movies ever made from adapting a game, and it’s unfortunate that I can never get back the time I spent watching this miserable movie.

The makers thought they were smart when they used the immensely popular Dwayne Johnson to be the main character, but even him could not save the production and his conversations with the animals were just so ridiculous.

The movie looks like a production for kids who have no reasoning faculty just yet. How can Johnson survive everything including gun shots that would easily kill aliens? He even treats the gun shots like leaves falling on him from a tree.

It is so hard to learn anything from this movie, yes including the ‘science’ in it; this is just way too ridiculous to me.

As the name may have suggested to you, Rampage is a movie about huge creatures tearing up our universe. It comes with an abundance of loud noises that should not surprise you, and the only foil to those monstrous creatures destroying the civilized world is Dwayne Johnson who plays a hybrid character.

As an adaptation of a popular game, the movie directors do a great job of scaling up some complex actions with Sci-fi upgrades.

There is a much greater improvements in effects to the actions in Rampage. Sights like the blowing up of cars and buildings looks more real than in movies like Man of Steel, yet it is no superhero movie.

Dwayne Johnson does not shy away from battling these monsters as if he was a superhero trying to save the world, yet he doesn’t kill them in an over the top manner like many people would have predicted.

The film does have some predictability about it and those who have watched King Kong and Godzilla may feel they are similar.
