Awful. From start to finish. I couldn't work out who the cast were or what they were supposed to be. I worked out the killer very quickly and it seemed to just be a crusade for the "they's and them's". Suprised there was no helpline phone number at the end.
This film is set in the woods and leads itself to be the old camp America style setting. It starts well, going deep into the multi diverse characters and demonstrates how society plays out today.
However, that is as far as it goes .. from here on in the film gets weird. We have a sudden mix of a musical then remembers it should be a slasher film so we have a number of random deaths.. and then to keep in context it throws in the scary mask person..
You kinda get what was trying to be sold but Logan seems to be way off the mark. Bacon as always puts in a good performance as do the others but confused as to what this film should be.
Not as bad as some say, was alright. Bacon done what he good with this one.
Really quite bad, save your time and money. Them/They is yet another movie based on the small minority who the larger majority have to change for.
Sent friend Whatsapp msg about They/Them last night, it was just 5x facepalm monkey's
I liked the idea but it fell flat on its face. It started poorly, got progressively worse and left me putting on Jaws afterwould simply to reflect on life!
There's a large element of LGBQT attached to this, and whether you agree with the movement or not, they are more deserving than what this dished out. For Kevin Bacon, he should stick to ads for the forseeable future unless a super script comes in.
