While Hurricane threatens to destroy lives and properties, some bad guys attempt a daring heist, however, a federal agent and meteorologist team up to stop the heist.
Gulfort, Alabama is set to be destroyed by a category 5 hurricane and local authorities have compelled the residents to move out of the area. A meteorologist who has been sent to collect reports from the area is trying to get his brother to leave the town. On the other hand, a federal agent who has been tasked with transporting old currencies to the US Treasury has no idea that there has been a major security breach and about $600 million are about to be taken out of the facility by a group of crooks. They both team up to stop the bad guys.
Most of the characters play their roles well and the director does a good job of keeping a balanced pace throughout the movie. The action is also good and the movie does show how much destruction a real hurricane can cause. The absence of romance between characters also makes the movie a little different from others.
