Hex starts off with some fantastic skydiving acrobatics. It looks amazing and makes you want to give it a try although I still think I'd need a few vodkas before jumping out of a plane.

I consider Hex to be a B movie, but only just, it's tricky to judge given the photography. A big thumbs up has to go to the stunt team and skydivers. The movie itself does have its mystery with disappearing jumpers which leads onto strange happenings but it just lacked any suspense, depth or intensity apart from when they were actually about to jump out of a plane which by the looks of things is tense anyway.

Parts of Hex reminded me of Point Break the remake with the action sequences and parties and planning. The disappearances are a reminder to what the original Star Trek "beam me up" effects were like rather than anything spectacular and it's only about from 40 minutes in that we start to get the spooky ghost stuff and blood make an appearance.

If you like jumping then Hex will have some great scenes for you. The horror and suspense you could push to the side apart from a few scenes including one with a shotgun, and the mystery itself isn't worth mentioning given it's so basic.

After watching Hex you might want to jump out of a plane yourself, both for good and bad reasons.
