The Greatest Beer Run Ever wasn't your standard beer run as you do when you have friends round and you draw the short straw. I'm sure it wasn't as funny as the film makes out at the time but it's a good watch and they have gone premium when it comes to the cast.
Bill Murray isn't in many films these days so when he is it's always a pleasure. There are some excellent action sequences when it comes to Vietnam and we don't get the obligatory Doors music.
There is drama too. Any soldier abroad will likely not what a buddy popping over with beers as a joke, regardless of how serious his intentions are. The Greatest Beer Run Ever is a good 2 hour plus adventure film that will have you laughing and keep you entertained for the duration.
