Whilst Katie Holmes give a good performance both on and off the screen, the film offers little to the imagination and felt slighty talked at.. not for me
If you are willing to listen for a few hours then you will be okay, otherwise Alone Togther isn't much of a thrill.
A LOT of talking in this. Think it would suit females more than men, wasn't for me.
I thoroughly enjoyed Alone Together and it was nothing to do with two glasses of beautiful wine whilst watching.
I think Katie Holmes, who both directs and acts in this romantic drama has done a sterling job with a very well written script that includes sharp dialogue that many in a rocky relationship could perhaps relate to. Especially during the pandemic where lockdowns could well have put extra strains on relationships.
There's no huge surprises or massive twists because Alone Together is not supposed to be that. This is a film about talking about things and I would recommend this to anyone old enough to hear the odd bit of swearing 🙂
