There are many central themes in ‘Arrival’, but perhaps most prominent is that of language. The protagonist, Louise (Amy Adams) is a linguistics expert, and from very early on I found myself fascinated by the structure and art of her passion - particularly when put into the context of sci-fi and extraterrestrials.

Amy Adams is in almost every frame of the film, and she does a terrific job of carrying it. I entirely believed in her character, as well as the others present, as I did with the world and the situation that humanity had been placed in. Although I was a bit confused very early on (as the film shows memories of another character), I found that once everything was revealed, it was a very good twist and a lovely storyline.

This movie is a spectacular work of art and I am so proud of everyone who contributed to bring out this movie. The ideas presented here really impressed me, and the methods they used to convey the message was superb.

Although it began to look a little too Hollywood-like and the Computer Generated Graphics were a bit weird, I still enjoyed the movie and I think you will enjoy it too.

The performance of Amy Adams was perfect and David Villeneuve showed here once again why he is one of the best producers out there at the moment. I love this movie.
