Was gutted at end of this. Not as good as thought it would be.
I can see what they've tried to do but it's missing both the script and in some cases the time. It just drags on with no thrills that I can remember and it could have just been the latest footage from the Mars Explorers with some cgi.
Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhh - so disappointed!
Interesting thoughts on how things would be but it's not enough to add to my streaming collection. It took boredom and locked it in a box with boring written on it and sent it to Planet Bore

Settlers for me was "unsettled". A real shame.
Found it really hard to get into. Jonny Lee Miller looks to go nuts very early so we see little of him then it turns into some form of Place In The Sun Mars Edition with little action, humour of drama.
Red Planet at night, watchers delight... sadly not true and Settlers does nothing to thrill at all. Some great scenery but that's about it.

It's unfortunate that Settlers didn't work for me. It was very much lots of dialogue on the dusty planet throughout with little to get on the edge of your seat about.
Jonny Miller only hangs about for around 20 minutes so maybe he got bored himself. Why is it that when humans from Earth settle somewhere we all have to dress like Obi-Won?
When you hear about a film that is about a different planet and that there are settlers on it you immediately think cool this should be decent but it never gets going and the plot is confusing. I'm still not sure why Settlers was produced.
Unfortunately Settlers will have to settle for a place outisde the top 100 sci-fi films. Did nothing for me despite some early promise.
What the hell was that about? Confusing.
Decent. Would watch again.
Argh... a really frustrating effort in what could have been a really good setup for a thriller on a different planet. Someone will do much better.
