Apart from the fact that he had to bring up some amazing stunts to get the fans of this franchise more excited than the previous editions, producer James Wan had a few things to consider when producing this seventh installation of Fast and Furious.

One thing he had to do was to still make a movie about super fast cars that also does not show that reckless driving is indeed dangerous, even though one of the movie’s main actor had died in a car crash recently. He also had the unenviable task of making a solid movie despite the fact that Paul Walker who is one of the reasons fans of the franchise watch the movie has died. With these issues at hand, Wan did a spectacular job.

As usual, this installment is action-packed but then it had a human angle to it because of the death of Brian, and most people who watched it wanted to see how well the movie would be now that he is no more. Never would this franchise be the same without Paul Walker.

Number 7 in the Fast and Furious franchise was certainly the biggest at the box office gaining around $320m but it was most likelyt to do with the additions of a couple more familiar faces in Jason Statham and Kurt Russell. It matches up to its billing nonetheless with non-stop far fetched action sequences which will have you giggling more than looking on in awe.

These films are generally well written but not if you're looking for a little suspense or having to use your brain to work out what might happen. As with most of the films in the Furious setup, it's quick one-liners between the characters coupled with CGI stunts that will have you either laughing or clapping and one cannot help but wonder what they might come up with next.

A lot of fun for an evening and certainly something you would watch again.
