Burial (2022)

Sounded great on paper. Was very disappointed. @Coops - I think it was his other ball in the box at the end.. one is still in the Albert Hall if I remember rightly.

Mostly very bad. Better going out for the eve if this was on your to-do list.

What was in the box though?

They should have put accents on granted, whether the director wanted that or not is anyone's guess. Was alright, very fantasy/fiction.

Draco Malfoy swaps his cosplay wizard outfit in exchange for going back to the end of World War 2 to bury and unbury Hitler's corpse as many times as he can whilst avoiding 'peasant dogs'.

Would of been better if the "Russians" actually had Russian accents at least! They all had Russian names and spoke perfect English.

I thought this was really good. A lot of mystery basing the idea on that Hitler might not have committed suicide. Recommended.

It is impossible to find anything positive to say about Russia and if that includes actors portraying Russians then even that. With Burial we have the story of Russian soldiers finding Hitlers body in Berlin and extracting it back to Stalingrad. History tells us the Russians mucked this up royally as they they dug up all sorts, got records mixed up and didn't know what they were doing when they got to the bunker in Berlin, but hey, digression returns.



Burial is a decent War film based on survival and morals. The soldiers are under orders to get the body back and questions remain whether they should, there are also others after the remains as they fight their way back home.
