Born on the Fourth of July

Movies about war stories are my favourites and Tom Cruise is one of the best actors alive. The combination of a Vietnam story and Tom Cruise had the making of a good movie written all over it and Born of the Fourth of July didn’t disappoint.

This movie gave Tom Cruise a deserved Oscar nomination and that goes to show you how wonderful his performance was in the film. This movie also bagged Oliver Stone an Oscar for best director.

This is just one of those movies that shows the terrible effect wars have on people, it was an emotional yet brilliant piece of art to me.
