After checking my notes on Bros this morning I remembered. I had written "Hmm" a few times. The reasons for them were whether the jocular moments worked for me and in many instances it didn't.
The synopsis suggested to me that it was a cool idea that could bring plenty of laughs but annoyingly it didn't, and I was left with the slight feeling of disappointment, a bit short-changed if you like.
I had no complaints regards the acting, the pace, nor the story and dialogue in the script but Bros is listed as a comedy and that is what I had set myself up for.
Bros delivers on a few moments of comedy but fails to deliver on most. Watch it by all means but don't expect to laugh on Dumb & Dumber levels.
