How could a ex- best friend stoop so low for her to be in a relationship with a friend's ex- boyfriend? There's a lot of men out there for her to be with but she decided to be with him instead of breaking up with him and moving on. If I was Alex I would not forgive her because loyalty and honesty is really important to me. She would be out of my life for good. But what I don't understand is that Alex brother and mother pushed them to talk like Beth didn't do anything wrong. And they ( her mother & brother) had the audacity to know everything and not tell her anything until later on. Alex on the other hand hugged Beth like everything is okay. Anyways I have seen better movies than this and would not recommend people to watch if you hated betrayals or betrayers.

Thank you for your review Dannie 🙂

While these movies tend to be a little cheesy with a weak story line. This was no different. Jodi Sweetin was such a stiff actress with no believeable emotion. Over all as the lead in this movie her acting ruined it. She was dry and not at all good in this role

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Emily!

I can honestly say A Christmas In Switzerland is one of the better Lifetime films I have watched over the years, giving you a feel-good factor from the moment it starts as well as make you look forward to Christmas.

The architect Alex, who's mother had Swiss parents and now owns a Swiss Inn is the location of most of the film albeit I don't think it was filmed anywhere near Switzerland.

There's lot of nice dialogue and friends being wonderful to one another as is normally the case with Lifetime, and given it's Christmas there is snowman making and a nativity for the children. Alex's brother turns up to which adds some gentle humour, especially when she wants just time with single father Liam.

This is everything you would want from a nice Christmas film with no concerns about any nastiness or bad feelings. A Christmas in Switzerland, despite being nowhere near Switzerland is a good, easy going watch.
