From Netflix we have Falling for Christmas, a romcom that in all honesty would not look out of place on the Lifetime or Hallmark channels. But please don't get me wrong, it's an okay film with the feelgood factor included.

Lindsay Lohan plays a rich, spoilt young woman who gets engaged and goes skiing, only for there to be a terrible accident with her fiance just leaving her and assuming she's dead.

A little time later she awakes in a small town with no recollection of who she is and what she was like in her past, and obviously she meets a handsome and hunky guy, even though a tin of beans would have done a better job than her "ex" fiance.

They very quickly get along as romance blossoms and there's a few good jokes in there. She then recalls her previous life and has to make a decision on whether to stay in her new life, or return to her old one full of wealth.

Falling for Christmas for me was a decent Christmas outing for a romantic comedy that will make you laugh and smile despite its predictability and there are good performances from all concerned.
