This movie comes after 35 years after the original and one thing we all expected to see was better visuals, and to their credit, the movie makers did produce a movie with some really solid visuals that seems spellbinding at times, but the movie still doesn’t have so much to offer in terms of a theme.
Unlike his other movies like Enemy, and Arrival, Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049 does lack a little bit of that mystery that comes with placing characters in positions that would be alien to them, but the movie still manages to give us something to think about our existence as Humans.
I didn’t enjoy it like Her or A.I.Artificial Intelligence, but I thinks its not such a bad movie after all.
