Apocalypse Now

This is the most realistic war movie ever made and I think it would stand the test of time in terms of being toppled by any other movie that would be as real as this one.

The movie was made unscripted, it was as real as real life war. The cameramen and actors were stoned during the filming, the corpse used were real corpses.

This is the first movie made by Coppola that I have watched and he has won me over instantly with how real and sincere this movie is about the war. He has managed to produce the most unfiltered movie I have ever seen.

This movie is real, tense and insane in every sense of those words.
