Personally I think I am the wrong target market for Torn: A Wicked Trilogy however I do have a daughter who has read the books by Jennifer Armentrout.

The film is a tale of trust, mistrust, love, and death in a world of fantasy. There are good performances in Torn: A Wicked Trilogy, I was impressed with Ivy played by the impressive Anna Maiche and she was backed up by a host of other good looking guys and girls.

There is a lot going on here and there are a lot of different characters that even nearly three hours of film time couldn't quite give me a lowdown on all of them but I got the gist of things in what is a world of fantasy, betrayal and deceit.

If you were ever into the likes of those series where good looking people become vampires or other creatures then this will be right up your street and I do believe you need to be a fan to fully appreciate Torn: A Wicked Trilogy. For me, as a standalone film it was very long and a sometimes confusing mix of who's who and who one should trust. Perhaps that's the point...
