The Sandman had high expectations, with a staring mixed cast it had the basis of gripping series. However, it cant seem to make up its mind weather its Harry Potter, fantastic Beasts and the a guy roaming around like the matrix had you totally confused. As for the horror.. there isnt any!
Once the excitement is over, and everyone has calmed down it's just a decent hocus pocus series.
Plenty of magic in The Sandman. It's like a cross between Harry Potter and Game of Thrones and boy does it work well. I had heard so many good things about The Sandman that I was pessimistic that I would not enjoy it as much as so many had suggested.
Nothing to be concerned about however. It's a serious I will enjoy long term if it continues on this track.
