This has always been one of my favourite movies, I don’t remember never liking it and at a point I even made a duty to watch it on every public holiday.
With some action style violence that isn’t so obvious, this movie is interesting funny and a really good William Goldman movie. Since I watched and started discussing the movie with some of my friends who have seen it too, I can boldly say it is extremely satisfying.
The casts are a hilarious set of people from the witch and wizard duo of Carol Kane and clergy man Peter Cook. They all do their best to keep you glued to your TV screen as they play their different roles in a truly thrilling romantic adventure.
Although there are scenes of kidnapping, sword fights, white horses on a rescue mission, among others, they are all masked by good humor.
