Well funny and definitely good for the kids to watch too. They loved it and as a fan of the Wayans brothers, this didn't disappoint.
Thank you for your thoughts Polo.junk!
I watched this myself yesterday in prep for Halloween night and I'll defo be putting it on again for the kids party. The Curse of Bridge Hollow is just right for 10 year olds plus and it will keep them amused for a good part of the evening.
There is nothing too scary for them or anything that will give them night terrors so nothing to worry about with that. It is just a fun movie that most kids on the 31st will enjoy!
The Curse of Bridge Hollow was really enjoyable. I had my two girls round for the evening and we stuck this on Netflix and made popcorn. They're 9 and 11 and this was right up their street.
It had everything you would want for a spooky Halloween family film, nothing too scary, fun, some good funny bits and a few bits of humour for us parents. The story, for me anyway, was simple, which is what it's supposed to be, in that a teenage daughter accidentally releases an evil spirit into the town and all the pumpkins, scary Halloween things come to life (a bit like Goosebumps) and she and her friends have to send the Spirit packing.
If you've nothing planned tonight for your kids and have Netflix then this would make for a nice evening with plenty of snacks to give them a treat. I promise you they will enjoy it and you'll have enough joy yourself just watching them.
