For me, this is one of the funniest films and have watched it many times. The humour carries throughout the film, whilst tugging on a few emotions. It definitely covers all bases for the ultimate feel good factor

The first in a string of great comedy films directed by Paul Feig and starring Melissa McCarthy, Bridesmaids is probably one of the best feel-good movies of all time, definitely worth watching again and again!

Although outrageously hilarious and rude, it also pulls at the emotions, allowing the viewers to really connect to all the characters on their ridiculous journey. The plot goes at a perfect pace, making you laugh straight from the outset whilst also maintaining that same energy right through to the very last second, even after the credits. There are definitely some very memorable scenes from this movie you can’t forget in a long time.

There’s nothing cinematically exceptional about this film, it certainly won’t grab the Oscars attention, but it knows what it is and gives the audience what they came for- a funny, romantic, feel good, rude, emotional, perfect chick flick that anybody can enjoy.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

Annie's friend Lillian is getting married and she is chosen to be Lillian's maid of honour.

At the engagement party Annie meets her friend's bridesmaids including her cousin Rita, a friend from work Becca, the groom's sister Megan and the rich and gorgeous wife of the groom's boss.

However Annie and Helen are jealous of each other's friendship of Lillian so she suggests they should spend time together.

Overall it is a great film and it was really funny.

Think a horror film can be harrowing? Cue 'Bridesmaid'!

When Annie's lifelong best friend gets engaged, her role as maid of honour begins. Her role catapults Annie to reflect on her own life - directionless, broke and single.

So whilst the bride gets caught up in the whirlwind of wedding planner. Annie feels struck down by jealousy despite her best efforts to hide it!

Bring in the other bridesmaid's and the carnage begins......watch this film and you will elope minus a bridesmaid.
