This is the true story of how two Americans thwarted an attempted train hijacking in Paris in 2015.

Clint Eastwood does it again here. This time he does create a heroic moment in real life. This movie is about the actual attempt by a lone gunman to hijack a train in Paris in 2015, and Eastwood, by way of experimentation does cast the real people involved in the incident; Alek Skarlatos and Spencer Stone – two American soldiers, and their friend Anthony Sadler.

This is not the best film as far as movies on terrorism goes and the entire attack on the train lasts for not more than 15 minutes. Eastwood also does interspace the movie with the true life stories of the three friends and this looks a little uncalled for.

The biggest moment of the film has to be when the French president Francois Holland honours the Americans and others who helped averted the tragedy, however, even this seem to show a lack of focus in the movie.

For his reputation you’d expect more from Clint Eastwood.
