Samaritan (2022)

A young boy starts to realise that a superhero who was thought dead might still be alive and well.

If the Samaritan film is anything like its paper version with Mythos Comics then we could be in for a nice surprise. See trailer below.

Very different to the normal superhero movies we are having to get used to. Thought it was alright.

Stallone plays an old super hero that hides away whilst cleaning up the streets. Whilst you may be bored of these from him, he still throws out a good film. I liked this

Hart warming with the kid and well worth the watch.

The film on a whole was quite well made. My concern, and grievance is with the acting from Sylvester Stallone. He yet again plays himself, a braindead 60 year old, which he has mastered since being a youngster with words that may make it into the millennial dictionary, but not one from the past.

I felt he should not have been cast. Others however worked with what they were given with aplomb and brought life to the film and the dreary backdrop. To paraphrase something from Star Trek; "It's a Superhero Jim, but not as we know it."
