Lone Survivor (2013)

This is one of the war films you just have to watch. I think what stands this movie apart from many others is the fact that it seem like an isolated case rather than a long a boring war tale. The movie’s plot also makes it quite believable and it is easy to see why I have watched it three times already.

The fact that it is a true story would delight war history junkies like me, and although I never read the story before seeing the movie, it was quite real.

There are a couple of really gruesome scenes as the producers try their best to make it as real as possible, and that made it even more gripping. This movie was well-acted and worth watching many times over.
