With so many people and innocent animals being hunted by Dinosaurs who look quite scary, this movie does a good job of striking a balance between almost being scary and being exciting at the same time for me.
The special effects used by Steven Spielberg and his team in this movie are ground breaking and they mix laughter and fright perfectly into the scenes. These are the days of some groundbreaking advancements in digital effects and Steven Spielberg use it to create some very realistically-looking dinosaurs.
This thriller would not be compared to another Steven Spielberg masterpiece Jaws, as it does not have that kind of storytelling or delayed suspense.
However, Jurassic Park is made a great watch because of how close it comes to being real and it is not unusual to see both adults and kids turn when the monsters attack kids especially when they are watching 3D Glasses.
