Not as great as those before it but a good long adventure film with all the usual Indy action sequences and Sean Connery does well in his role as the adventurers dad. A search for the Holy Grail and of course the Nazi's close by makes for a riveting watch.
This is maybe my favourite movie in the Indiana Jones franchise. Sean Connery and Harrison Ford seem to be the perfect duo and I enjoyed watching them act together.
I did enjoy the action scenes in the movie as they were unlike some other films that would have chosen some more mindless type actions. The makers of this movie instead use action that is just entertaining.
This is a major upgrade to The Temple of Doom in my opinion and if I had known, I’d have just skipped that second installment and head straight for this.
Overall, I think the way Harrison Ford and Connery genuinely have fun while acting in the movie may be the major reason why I love the movie because their chemistry seems to be very natural.
