One of those with an odd, twisted, unhappy endings and leaves some obvious flaws

Went nowhere for me sorry.

This movie is everything a crime thriller should be. Engaging, mysterious, tense and highly dramatic. While the storyline is highly unbelievable the movie is amazing. It opens well and continues to excel from there. I enjoyed the cyclic structure of the movie as well as the screenplay, which was written by the author of the novel (Gillian Flynn). With a strong script and even stronger performances from Ben Affleck, Neil Patrick Harris and Rosamund Pike who seems to have born to play Amy Dunne. Already an engrossing movie, David Fincher’s directing skills make this movie really pop and it is one of the cleverest and best thrillers I have ever watched. Not only is it a good movie, it also stays true to the book which is something that plenty of movies struggle to do. Not only does it work well as a thriller but the hints of comedy that run throughout make it all the more interesting with a well written score by Trent Razor and Atticus Ross which helps to build suspense and solidify the tone of the story. One of my favourite movies that I could (and have) watch again and again.

A sinister yet very cleverly written film about a woman scorned.

A definite must see!
