Directed by actress Eva Longoria we have the story of Flamin' Hot Cheetos and how they became so popular under creator Richard Montañez including the highs and lows of how he got his spicy snack on the market.
The film does exactly what one expects in biography of a person and product, taking anecdotes and turning it into watchable scenes with a number of elements related to the struggles he encountered as well as the joy the snack produced worldwide.
As with many films like Flamin' Hot Cheetos the story on its own far outweighs anything one can do with a camera and a little direction and the important point to note is the challenges a young Mexican man had to overcome in America, both in getting his product in the stores and the issues thereafter.
Flamin' Hot Cheetos is a decent film with a few laughs and smiles along the way but it's not one that will have you desperate to sign up to Hulu and 3 stars is probably just about right.
