I can’t believe that I haven’t seen this film before, this is the first time I have seen this film.
This film is a true classic. People who have seen this back in the 80s were probably the first ones who have seen this film and I think they wouldn’t been too disappointed. This film shows the relationship of a 10 year old boy and a little extra terrestrial creature.
It was the highest grossing film of 1982 beating Tootsie and all the other films that were made that year including Annie.
I myself despite not seeing this film in my childhood years, enjoyed watching it. It was a little emotional towards the end of the film. It didn’t disappoint me.
If you haven’t seen ET, then you are massively missing out.
I recommend this film to anyone whether they like science fiction films or not. It is a great film for everyone.
This movie is such a joy to behold. It centres around a beautiful relationship between Elliott and a little extraterrestrial. This movie is one the very few movies that enmeshes several of our personal childhood memories.
Before now, kids were always dressing as E.T for Halloween, and while most kids don’t do that again, E.T remains one of the most unforgettable creatures in the history of animated movies. Steven Spielberg off course created it to show yet again why he is perhaps the greatest character creator of all time.
This movie is more than just a sci-fi movie with images that would live with the watchers for a long time, it is also one that comes closer to home considering the story of the divorced mother who is trying to raised three kids with no help from her ex.
The performances of the actors are superb and I’d not forget that flying bicycle in a hurry.
