Read somewhere the budget was like $10m+ but where did it go? Not on the actual movie thats for sure

IMDB rated this poorly without even watching it I bet. They suck. Detroit Dreams is well worth watching guys n gals!
I was lucky enough to be one of those who actually watched Detroit Dreams on the big screen. There are big performances and it is gritty throughout. The music isn't to my personal taste but that's not what this film is about. I'd recommend to most people I see daily.

Hits the nail on the head tbh. Been to Detroit twice and it's edgy stuff. I like what they done with this.
Don't let the fact that it bombed at the box office deter you. It was simply poor promotion. Detroit Dreams is decently directed and you'll find at least 4 very good performances in what is a somewhat dark drama.
Kind of okay. Prefer movie like Small City though.
