Christmas on Mistletoe Lake is a film that is very easy to watch, with giggles here and there and a nice chunk of romance for any romantics out there which is mixed in with a beautiful snowy backdrop.
As it's Christmas just around the corner this is the perfect time for film like Christmas on Mistletoe Lake to come out and if you're not in the mood already then this will definitely get you in the mood for the festivities.
While the main story is obvious there is a poignant underlying story in big companies versus small towns which is a nice touch for a film like this, but it doesn't distract from our couple getting together. An interior designer heads to Mistletoe Lake for Christmas but has nowhere to stay, cue the single man to turn up and offer her a place in his boat for the duration.
The film does reflect on the woman Emma more than the man, Ray. She is an interior designer looking to expand her knowledge in the industry by getting into an elite educational school which she really needs, but does she really?
Christmas on Mistletoe Lake is an okay film, easily watchable at any time of the day and will get you in the right mood. You can also fully expect a happy ending as you do with all of these types of romantic comedies.
