The Lost King was great. It did make me angry at how people jumped in on Philippa's work and how Leicester University tried to take the limelight, now we know the truth.

All credit to the woman for being so driven to find Richard III. If you are a fan of British dramas that are based on a true story then you will really love The Lost King - it has plenty to ponder aswell as laughs and some tears.

The Lost King is a delightful British drama with pinches of comedic value that includes a very good cast in Coogan and Hawkins.

The search for Richard III lost remains had been a long term struggle for most historians and this story outlines one lady's personal battle to go against the norm of historical and perhaps pompous establishments and individuals.

I thought Sally Hawkins was marvelous in her role as the historian. She really came across well as someone who knows no bounds in a search for historical truth and an investigative quest for knowledge. Coogan plays her hard working husband and father who doesn't over do it, sliding into what could be classed as a background role effortlessly.

The Lost King is certainly one I would recommend. It's an easy watch that will make you smile on numerous occasions and give you that light feelgood factor that few dramas doe these days. I imagine The Lost King will be played at UK community theatre's everywhere if not already.
