The Life of Jem Belcher is great for boxing fans and it is interesting to see how women were treated back then.
Historically the final fight is still considers one of the best there ever was. If you love boxing like me then this will be one you have to watch. Amazed to learn how it all started back then to what we have today. Jem Belcher was a great fight and his final fight against Henry Pierce is suggested to be one of the first classics.
It's a great story well told. Purist in me wanted to see a few more fights but when you watch this and look at today's boxing, not much has really changed. Good film.
God it was barbaric back then. Good movie. Belcher would definitely call Fury out 🙂

The Life of Jem Belcher has great fights and good casting choice. A must watch for all boxing fans.
