Don Sutherland is just brilliant. Saw him in Gideon's just the other day as well as a very young man. He does The Leisure Seeker justice, it's a nice, friendly romance with sharp wit mixed in. Good work.
This movie got it spot-on when it comes to acting, however, it is somewhat very predictable. Nevertheless, it is beautiful sad story about relationships, when we get old and are about to die.
This movie is a good movie, many would think it is for the older folks. However, I can totally relate to it. I have spent some time with my dad going through his ageing issues and I personally have begun to feel them as well.
In his old age, my dad could remember some of the translation jobs he did for ECOWAS, but can no longer drive himself from the airport home.
Mirren was also great in her role and the Producers overall made a movie that is close to my personal experience so I enjoyed it.
