This was yet another failed attempt at a sequel like we see very often and I hope they don’t come out with The Expendables 4 if it would be half as bad as this was.
Throughout the movie it is apparent that there is a struggle in trying to pair fresh faced actors with the veterans and this affects how much of the gun-toting action can be shown like in the first two movies.
This was so bad and far off from the first two installments that it felt like Pirates of the Caribbean 3. It is obviously the worst of the three movies and although you may enjoy the action scenes, if you have watched the others, then be ready to be disappointed.
It's basically 8 or so Rambo types versus 300 cannon fodder, not for me.
Kind of a good idea putting Mel Gibson in there and you sort of feel for him as a bad guy when the truth outs, you can leave brain somewhere else though and not much thought needed, or gone into it.
Let's get everyone in Hollywood to get together and shoot each other. If only they did this in real life then the poorer actors would be outta there!
