A teenage girl returns to school after being home-schooled and finds new friends that prefer stealing from shops than simply having fun.
AKA The Shoplifting Pact

Was ok for one of these sorts of movies. Do not take it very seriously and just go along with it.
My very first movie review for WhichFilm and it had to be one of these from Lifetime! I know these TV movies are meant to discuss real life issues and morals and shoplifting is a good subject to show to the teenager and mom market, I just think for the hour and twenty minutes it should have had a lot more depth.
Stealing in Suburbia, which has also been called as The Shoplifting Pact is very basic and you know what, it is probably supposed to be that way. It's not a movie for the cinemas to get millions of dollars, it's a movie that wants to get a point across and it's a movie that gives actors and actresses a stepping stone for something bigger further along the career path.
Stealing in Suburbia will make good viewing on any rainy afternoon, it gives us the right message and that for me is job done.
