Splice

At first I was impressed by this movie, then it became downright frustrating for me eventually. It is a shame that such a brilliantly written idea and good development would end disappointingly.

For a Sci-Fi, everything was building up well for me until the makers decided that the last parts should be the most stupid parts and this leads to a movie that would only pass as horrible horror story at the end.

I’d agree that the movie was entertaining for some of its part, but it fails to make the viewers feel a certain way about it creature as a genetic experiment. The special effects were too pronounced, and the characters were both idiotic at some point and then unlikeable the next time, I left watching the movie feeling really indifferent.
